[quote="champs95"]I think its about time left. We need the money to re-invest. Which I believ we will do. If we get £11m thats very good business. He has been nothing short of excellent for us. But time for him to move on. He needs a change.

We already look faster, and have more options. People will write Watt and Jackson off before kicking a ball. Both could be useful additions. Those same people said Rhodes fee was too high. And its looking like we will make a profit, on a guy who scored 20 goals plus a season. It was a fantastic piece of business, as was making sure we gave him longer contracts, and better money. Not only did he deserve it, it meant we can command the fee now. Boro are desperate, and making an expensive mistake now, as Rhodes will not retain his value, and if they went up, he will be found wanting. Sadly he hasnt the pace for the Prem. But is certainly one of the best Champ strikers, and has been ever since he came to us.

Cheers lads & Saxo ???? hope your all well.

So he's gone, it's done and we move on. Like H says, time to build a side now. We have the odd bits, but we need a solid foundation. We need 2 centre midfields, one real playmaker, the other a box to box, win it, give it to his mate type. I'd keep Marshall, but Conway, Evans the list goes on. They need replacing. With quality. In still say we need a really decent centre half alongside Hanley. And I believe Lambert will get in his striker to replace Rhodes in the summer. But we will play a different way now. We need more pace, more creativity and we need to be harder. Gomez is a step in the right direction. Not the solution, but a step forward.Like Lamberts style of play or not, we dont need a Rhodes type player. To be fair, we do need a Danny Graham type. I can see what he's trying to do now. And getting a guy to just stick them in, no fuss, I hoping could be this Watt who snuck in under the radar. I think most of the main business will b

I think the problem will come up down the left hand side
if we are to end up playing a counter attack with pace Conway and spurr have next to none
this seems a shame as I echo what you say aucks he is a really good player plenty of effort and a good crossing ability but eventually Lambert will look at the fact we have pace on the right but none on the left.
