With the way Patrick Cryne has spoken about being a custodian of the club and how he speaks about the history of St Peters and Oakwell it wouldn't surprise me if it's not written into a contract that the club doesn't leave Oakwell. He's spoken about this a lot.

That could also be a reason for his family keeping a very small share in the club, it could be that is gives a chance to veto anything in the future

If the share is as small as you suggest ESR veto would be out of the question

Don't think that's how boardroom voting works does it?

I don't get it myself other than sentimental shareholding , like a family heirloom perhaps .

It doesn't stop anything in a vote , the club would have to be sold for £100 million in the future just to gain you £2.5 million , I wouldn't turn my nose up but the Cryne's are millionaires twenty odd times over and that's without the isoft money .

I'm sure I once read that Mr Cryne owned a Golf course some place, just wondered if it was true, or is it my owd age.

They go to all the games so it keeps them involved , with a boardroom pass at every Away game
