Agree OC.
And talking about OC...that was a masterstroke at the time which kick started our revival.
Apart from Brian Laws, which was just bizarre, all our managers since Jimmy Mullin have helped us to progress.

Eddie Howe hasn’t done bad either, just couldn’t cope with our older players and the cold weather, but had he stayed I suspect he would have done well here too after the clear out.
Agree OC.

I wonder what would have happened if they had appointed Villas Boas instead of Brian. To be honest I felt Brian got the short end of the stick with no support staff left, two weeks of the transfer window left and the loss of Holden and Wilshere who had been due to come here but went to Bolton and a bunch of players who were Coyle lovers who didn’t cooperate.
I’m not saying he would have done what Sean has done, but if the players had behaved we could have stayed up - a win instead of a loss to Wigan would have been enough. But not everyone sees it my way.
The apppoinent of Dyche was a masterstroke by the board and sticking with him when we went down even better- Howe had us on the brink of league one- look at us now. Dyche is arguably one of the most talented managers in the PL at the moment, certainly the top Englishman and he is OUR manager. I guarantee that Burnley will not see the like of him for a very long time-
Everton Kingpins are Expected to meet today to sort out who they want.
It’s looking like Sam wants longer than to the end of the season, and the owner wants a.big name in summer, so it’s looking like they will stick with Unsworth who Kenwright favours
That could be a fatal decision.
On this occasion you are right Sinkov
How could I have forgotten him?
I also agree with you (to a point) about Brian Laws.
He was given a poisoned chalice and I reckon not even Big Sam could have kept us up in those circumstances.
As you say, we weren't that far off survival, but relegation felt inevitable once Coyle buggered off.
He has managed a team with just about every embargo the FA could possibly throw at them.
Given our financial circumstances and general stability, I'm sure he would do a cracking job with us.
I think we are all getting way ahead of ourselves though, SD has lots of things to achieve with us yet.![]()
