During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. However, a player may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season if he has moved between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (ie, start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring). This is only allowed if he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs."
That rules out a loan then doesn't it? This would mean that if he'd been loaned to a Scandinavian Club for example, playing a summer season, then he could have then moved to another Club on completion of said season. However Scotland and England play concurrent seasons, not overlapping.

No, the 'emergency' that was Commons' loan was over by the time Amobrose arrived. They were trying to sign Commons permanently though iirc.

Well technically hes only been registered for one club due to him joining plymouth on 21st August?

Aye but HTWOAE said "You can only loan one player over 23 from the same league in one season" which wouldnt be correct in this case

Sorry meant to say one player over 21 at a time. No more than 2 over 21 players in 1 season.

I've re-read the rules you quoted there and I see where you may be coming from. I can't remember exactly but did he not come on as a subbie in any of their CL qualifiers? If so, it's a dead duck. If he didn't then reading that, a loan for Nads himself would be possible to another Club. BUT I reiterate that we couldn't loan him unless Stanton was sent back to Hibs. Personally, I wouldn't want to do that at all.

Hes not played in any Celtic games this season. And im sure you can loan players from two different clubs in the same league, i may be wrong tho. My head is burst with it all too!

Mr Brightside may be able to shed some light on it as he said that he heard that we are trying our hardest to get it done??
