Can't argue with any of that Moog.

I don't think there has been much games where Considine himself has been sh*te. It has always been when the team as a whole aren't performing. The problem is he, being a more experienced player shouldn't be making those mistakes whether the team is playing crap or not.

I'd like to see us get a decent left back in with him as cover but seen as the funds are non existent we probably will be stuck with him as a first pick.

He`s a Centre Half , who has filled in without complaint anywhere DMcC has asked him to . Currently he`s coping at Right Centre. Even though he is a Leftie. ?

IF McKenna goes, there he is , as a safe and cheap stand in at Left Centre Half ? Although with the unanswered question over Devlins current fitness level ( ? ) He may well be required on the right again too.

Shaugnessy hasn`t been confirmed yet . So I`d say we definitely need an honest reliable and LOYAL player like Consodine. Sure you can all bleat on about how you want better , his "brainfarts " and that he is holding back the team . and how I must be a Happy Clapper , and settling for Considne is settling for 3rd postion an occassional Cup final and ongoing averageness ..........
But come on , He`s one of our own. nobody gets left behind !!! COYR.

Well naebody can accuse Consi of being a hun.

I’m not saying he’s the most talented member of the squad ( he might be by the end of May) but he’s certainly been the most loyal.
Played out of position most of his career, I wouldn’t grudge him a couple of seasons as our left sided centre half.

Of course if the new Miller and McLeish are available then it’s the bench for you Consi min.

I don't mind Considine being back up but like Moog said, the temptation for DM will be to play him (see Dom Ball).

He's definitely been loyal, must be hard playing for your local team and knocking back all the big money moves.

Most loyal member of the squad my @rse

If any English club came in for him he would have been off the first chance he got.

The only reason he has stayed here for his entire career is because he is clever enough to realise it would be downhill from Aberdeen for him.

A team like Dundee maybe, then Peterhead before some Highland league team I would imagine, probably at the same speed as Mackie went from Phoenix to the Highland League.

    That's fair enough.
I made the most of my footballing talent too.

Unfortunately that was Aberdeen Amateur division six.

Well, not unfortunately really, I had a great time.
