    Why the hell should we copy other councils? Apart from the pink lids (I hope they’re not luminous) then I don’t see the problem .

    Had to pay for brown bin, that’s why it’s been changed colour otherwise they’d have to collect all green bins that aren’t using the scheme, then send them another bin out for the card/paper.

    Saved money probably

    Just had my pink bin delivered. It won't be big enough. I nearly always had to stand in the bin to squash down the rubbish. I also make trips to the tip to get to recycle so nothing goes in the black bin that should not. Why did the council just not leave the black bin for what it's always been used for and the pink bin for plastic waste?. Rbc ****ers

    What on Earth are people throwing away that is too much for that pink bin most of our waste used to be made up of plastics so the amount we chuck away should be massively reduced.

    70% of our waste is recyclable so that pink bin should be more than big enough

    Go live down East Dean. Anything goes in any bin and everything gets picked up weekly
