It’s not looking good but it seems like a few have given up already.
We may have missed our opportunity due to poor results against relegation rivals in Dec, Jan and Feb
A few reasons that it's good to be in the cship:
Standard of football is miles better
An extra £6m and bigger gate receipts. Probably spend it all and more though
Different clubs to play, different grounds to visit
Better atmospheres
Watching much better players
Watching future England players
Watching players who appeared in the Russia world cup

Relegation scraps are great if you escape the drop though. Not good for the stress levels at the time but they live long in the memory.
2-1 at home to Reading. Joyous scenes at the end as if we'd got to Wembley
I'd take 4th bottom in cship than 3rd top in Div 1 and losing the playoffs every year though.
It could also be argued that what's the point in smashing the likes of Walsall and Oxford 3-0 at home every week.
I'd like to be given the chance to beat Frank Lampard's Derby County every now and again.
Sorry but simple fact was/is. Under Steve Evans league 2 promotion then league one playoff win then championship survival was the best consecutive 3 seasons in my miller's lifetime... And from those 3 season the league one season was the best. Maybe ambition is clouding who we really are
I can stomach losing providing we've given it a good go.
This 4-5-1 or 3-5-2 as Warne wants to call it is doing my head in.
Every season is enjoyable watching the millers we just don’t always appreciate it at times.
So I'll ask you the same question I posed on here a few weeks back for the MM faithful. If you end up in the playoffs, make it to the final and it goes to penalties. Moore steps up the take what will be the winner, will you all be shouting MISS, MISS because you know next season will be a potential struggle followed by relegation? I doubt it!
Yes it is a daft question. But if we go down this year and end up in the playoff final again next year I bet we will struggle to take 10,000 to Wembley because the novelty is wearing off. Maybe the US franchising model is the answer with no promotion or relegation and just similarly financed teams fighting for the pride of winning their division![]()
