    Another statement

    No point deduction for Blackpool
Birmingham won’t appeal the 9 point deduction, really
Coventry still on going with trying to see where they’ll be playing next season
    Asking for assistance for Bury
    Meeting with Bolton

An extraordinary general meeting to discuss Coventry City's future has been postponed, with the club in "initial discussions" with Wasps over extending their stay at the Ricoh Arena.

The English Football League meeting has been put back until 29 May because City have made "significant progress".

Coventry have also signed an agreement to groundshare at an "alternative venue", but have not confirmed where.

Five clubs offered them a ground share and my guess is they will eventually stay at the Ricoh till a new ground is built.

Theres an issue around 'primacy of tenure'. Which is why it was a problem us sharing with the rugby. Are we really saying Cov should fold due to a temporary ground problem?

PFA could well step in and loan the money again.
Ratification of Bassinis takeover is taking some time to sort out.

EFL statement on Bolton v Brentford game

Following the failure of Bolton Wanderers to provide formal confirmation of its ability to meet its obligation to fulfil its Championship fixture against Brentford FC on Saturday (27 April), the game will not go ahead as planned.

Earlier on Friday, the playing staff at the Club issued a collective statement confirming that they had decided not to fulfil the remaining fixtures of the season unless they received monies owed to them.

As a result of these disappointing developments, the League has been forced to suspend Saturday’s fixture and under EFL Regulations, the Club is now deemed to be guilty of misconduct and will be referred to an Independent Disciplinary Commission.

The EFL Board will now consider the matter of determining whether the fixture will be played or not.

No further comment will be made at this time.

No sympathy with efl at all they dug themselves into this problem by letting Bolton get away with this for 3 seasons
