I'm sorry. I thought you meant in the league in general rather than one off ties. I'd also hesitate to call it regularly.
Given our resources we should seldom be out of the top 4 if we use the excuse given by others for not consistently beating the ugly sisters.
Yes, I know that percentage-wise the gap is far greater between them and us as against us and other teams in the SPFL.
This season has given a slightly poorer return than in any other year under DM.
Significantly hit by injuries and struggle to replace quality players that left.
We should have been above Kilmarnock, however I doubt they will maintain their lofty position next year.
In recent years we have overachieved in the league.
As JJ said, take your pick.
Near relegation, struggling around the bottom of the league and seldom anywhere near the upper part of the league.
We have/had a budget supposedly better than all but 2 or 3 in the league.
Should we not expect a better return? Budgets stop us competing with Celtic after all.
As the topic states I am pretty much thinking along these lines. I will watch the matches through RedTV again rather than bother going on match days. Aberdeen are a pretty boring football club at the moment and something major will need to happen before the problem is addressed.
