ARCHAEOLOGY SHOWS PHILISTINES, ENEMY OF ISRAELITES, CAME FROM EUROPE

    https://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Ar...rranean-594509

"We found infants that were too young to travel... so they were born on site. And their DNA revealed [that] their parents’ heritage was not from the local population."

New evidence has revealed that the ancient people most known for their biblical conflict with the Israelites were immigrants to the region in the 12th century BCE.

“For 30 years, we excavated at Ashkelon, uncovering Canaanites, early Philistines and later Philistines – and now we can begin to understand the story that these bones tell,” said Daniel M. Master, director of the Leon Levy Expedition to Ashkelon, who headed the excavations.

The team used state-of-the-art DNA technologies on ancient bone samples unearthed during the excavation from 1985-2016. Analyzing for the first time genome-wide data retrieved from people who lived in Ashkelon during the Bronze and Iron ages (around 3,600 to 2,800 years ago), the team found that a substantial proportion of their ancestry was derived from a European population. This European-derived ancestry was introduced into Ashkelon around the time of the Philistines’ estimated arrival in the 12th century BCE.
The findings of the study were published Wednesday in Science Advances.

According to the Book of Joshua, the land of the Philistines was in the southwestern Levant comprising the five city-states of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gath, from Wadi Gaza in the south to the Yarkon River in the north. It was from this designation that the whole of the country was later called Palestine by the Greeks.

“When we found the infants – infants that were too young to travel... these infants couldn’t march or sail to get to the land around Ashkelon, so they were born on site. And their DNA revealed [that] their parents’ heritage was not from the local population,” Aja explained, referring to the new genetic input from the direction of Southern Europe that was found in bone samples taken from infants buried under the floors of Philistine homes, as was the custom during that period.

Mahmoud Abbas: “Our narrative says that we were in this land since before Abraham. I am not saying it. The Bible says it. The Bible says, in these words, that the Palestinians existed before Abraham. So why don’t you recognize my right?”

He was clearly basing this on mention of the Philistines in the Bible.

    As Palestinian Media Watch explains:

Abbas’ statement about the Bible is false. The only Biblical reference Abbas could be talking about is the text that Abraham dwelt “many days in the land of the Philistines.” (Genesis 21: 34). However, the Philistines have no connection to today’s Palestinian Arabs. The Philistines were a people of Greek origin who settled in the land of Canaan and lived beside the Israelite tribes. The Palestinians who are Arabs could not have had ancestors in the land from biblical times predating Israelite and Judean statehood because Arabs only arrived in the land in 637 CE with the Muslim invasion. Needless to say, the “Palestinians” are not mentioned in the Bible. Significantly, Abbas says that this “fact” – which is a fabrication – is what gives Palestinians a “right” to the land.

Israeli jets strikes Gaza-bound arms shipments in the Sinai
Mostly in conjunction with the Egyptians, Israel’s Air Force has regularly destroyed convoys carrying missiles, weapons, and high explosive materials that were being transferred across Egypt by dealers in Libya to the Islamic Jihad & Hamas in Gaza.

The trucks carrying missiles, weapons, and high explosive materials were on their way to Gaza after being transferred through arms dealers in Libya where they had been sold to Hamas and other militant groups by Palestinian intermediaries in various countries.

A glorious continent sinkov, completely ruined by people. Everywhere you look, the legacy of European colonialism is having adverse effects, even today.

Prodigy Son of Hamas Defects, Exposes Deceptions, Corruption.

    https://www.israelandstuff.com/break..._LeIY.facebook

Hamas in disarray as Suheib Yousef, the second son of the terror group’s co-founder defects over the organization’s systemic corruption, racism, and exploitation of children tells all to an Israeli reporter in an unnamed Asian country. “They eat in high-end restaurants, paying $200 for one course, while a family in Gaza lives on $100 a month.”

''The goal of the attacks in the West Bank is to kill civilians, not for resistance, or Jerusalem, or liberating Palestinian land and not even because they hate Jews.''

“Hamas is part of me since childhood. I grew up in Hamas and worked for it, but when I was exposed to the corruption, I left them and cut off contact with them,” Suheib said.

Yousef said that Hamas gathers intelligence information in Turkey but it “isn’t for the Palestinian cause,” but is sold “to Iran in return for financial assistance,” adding that the money from Iran is transferred through Turkish banks.

He explained that the Turkish branch of Hamas recruited people, including children to carry out terror attacks in Israel. “The goal of the attacks in the West Bank is to kill civilians, not for resistance, or Jerusalem, or liberating Palestinian land and not even because they hate Jews. They send these innocent people because they want to export the crisis [from Gaza] to the West Bank.”

“If Hamas gave up power, there would be no problems,” he said, calling Hamas “a racist terrorist organization that is dangerous for the Palestinian people.”

Yousef also expressed anger and revulsion at the behavior of senior Hamas members in Turkey, who live in luxury at the expense of the Palestinian people. “Hamas senior officials live in fancy hotels and luxury buildings, their kids are in private schools. They’re paid generously by Hamas, earning between $4,000 to $5,000 a month. They have security guards, swimming pools and country clubs. They eat in high-end restaurants, paying $200 for one course, while a family in Gaza lives on $100 a month.

“I want them to send their own children to carry out attacks,” Yousef said. “Why doesn’t Ismail Haniyeh go to the fence to throw stones?” he said, referring to the weekly March of Return protests by the Gaza border fence organized by Hamas.

Despite Yousef’s defection and scathing censure of Hamas, he separated his actions from those of his brother, Mosab. “Unlike my brother, I never worked for Israel,” he said. “I never betrayed [Hamas], I was loyal to them.”

Israel can attack Syria at any time, Arab experts say
After purported Israeli attack on targets near Damascus and Homs, in which 4 civilians were said to have been killed.
Egyptian analyst warns region on brink of greater conflict, saying that while each side is trying to hold its nerve, 'war is inevitable'
Ali Abd al-Hamad, an Egyptian political analyst who heads an organization in Cairo called the General Nasserite Conference, says the region is on the brink of a greater conflict.

All parties are trying to hold their nerve, Hamad said, “but war is inevitable.”

“Israel is using its limited freedom of operation in order to demonstrate its power after its failure in the south of Syria,” says Hisham Jaber, a Lebanese military expert and former general.

“Israel has targeted Damascus more than 200 times in the past three years,” he says, adding that the Assad regime was concentrating on re-establishing its control over Syria, so it would not start a war with Israel. Moreover, he said that Moscow would not allow Iran to retaliate from Syria.
