This was the statement from Bury’s lawyer, sound like EFL are not bothered in helping them out if you ask me

The lawyer working with the Club has sent the following statement after the EFL's decision last night:

It was very disappointing to have been informed by The English Football League (EFL) late yesterday evening, that they have postponed Bury Football Club’s fixture with Accrington Stanley. This decision was made despite providing them with the proof of funding documentation, agreeing with The PFA on footballer debt and having already satisfied the safety requirements for the stadium two weeks ago.

We had the weekend to resolve any issues before the EFL cancelled the Accrington Stanley game. As of today, we still have not received those questions and we are waiting for the EFL to provide them in order that the club can respond. This would then allow Bury Football Club to start the season. The actions from the EFL are causing immeasurable damage to Bury Football Club.

Reckon we'd be demoted to the National League at best if we were in Boltons situation. They've chased the dream, overspent to the max and I have no sympathy for the club at all. I do feel for supporters but I bet plenty of them were demanding transfers to make a push for promotion back to the premier league a few years ago, so even that sympathy I have is limited.

I do feel for Bury's fans though as I'm guessing they haven't been as demanding as Bolton fans to chase success.

Fact is Bury will go bust but Bolton will end up being okay. Historical fashionable club aren't they I suppose.

    It stinks!!

According to Bury fans they don't believe anything that the owner says.
Even they don't believe that the club has satisfied the EFL and are tired of hearing the owner claim it's always someone else's fault

Bolton founder member, loans, help, given time. Bury small club near Rochdale **** all. EFL don't care abut the little clubs never have never will. You have to have a celeb on the board to count. Hope Bury sort it out quite like going their i am sure a bucket or 2 would be welcome around the away end for them i would chuck a bit in .

The Bury owner is paying the lawyers fees so he will be just saying what the owner has told him to say.
Obviously the lawyer will be protecting himself by wording it in a certain way
