I mean what exactly can we do other than vent anger on social media which the NL won't care about.

We need to make a stink about this. Encourage the owners that they have our backing to do whatever they can to get the NL/FL to compromise, otherwise the leagues will just go for the easy option.

The only reason you started this season relatively poorly (still better than Barrow did though*) was the takeover and not getting players in sooner because of that - unless you sack Ardley - which won't happen you'll have a full pre-season this time. Also. IF no-one (or just Stevenage) comes down there will be no new rivals who could threaten your chances.
*We started badly because you poached Sam Graham off us gazumped our offer to Sheff Utd and it took 8/9 games to get the right replacement in.

For certain, but they haven't come out and said it directly because they're testing the water. It's up to us, Harrogate, Yeovil etc. to say "We do not accept that premise, we believe that it would only be fair to play off for that one promotion spot and we will be consulting our lawyers."

With Boreham Wood saying today they don't want play offs and that happened could only really be either;-
Harrogate v Notts - or Harrogate v Winner of Notts V Yeovil. (assuming 2 promotion places).
IF there is only 1 place i would expect the EFL to go down the invite route as it rules out any legal challenges.

We have a case because, with Bury going bust, only one team should have been relegated in 2018/19.
If that notion was to gain traction, I'd still say the fairest way to decide it would be to play off. Let the football decide with us going into the games knowing exactly what it is we're playing for.

I suppose there are two possible outcomes if it is decided that the results of this season are completely expunged.

    1. We start the new season exactly as we did this (only 23 clubs in League 2).
    2. If the EFL want the full complement of 72 clubs they only relegate one meaning we stay up.

Unfortunately, the first option is probably the easiest and fairest.

i like your enthusiasm on the Bury bit - but that option stopped at the EFL AGM. IF they had gone before the AGM you would have been in L2 last season and one of the relegated teams in L1 would have stayed up. And even worse quite possibly nobody from the NL would have ended up in next seasons EFL as there would be no spare place.

You have made a good case that if Barrow aren't promoted, it should be Harrogate!

You're living in a fantasy world, the only way we will go up is it they hold play-offs. They won't and we won't.
