You’ll never get a full handbook on every variable and you can never eradicate all risks, if employees remain unhappy with the social distancing in place at work, they should report it to their local authority or the HSE who can force an employer to take further action.

Most companies I’ve interacted with have quickly adapted. Even our corner shop has put a plastic screen at the counter and limits people in. Supermarkets have workers with full visors at the self scans when the scanner gets stuck. The economy has to get moving again, if you can work from home fair enough but if you can’t as a business owner I wouldn’t just be sitting back saying see you in 3 weeks, I’d be preparing my company to be Covid safe and starting limited phase return rather than everyone back in 3 weeks time.

Rishi is about to put the squeeze on workers to force them back to work to put bread on the table.

The furlough scheme is probably about to be reduced to make it impossible for the Ordinary Joe to survive. My guess is that today Rishi will be at the lectern (with fresh haircut ) full of warm words and thanks and then he will slip in the fact that the furlough payment will be cut from 80% to 60% from 1st July and then either say further action is being considered or just say that it will go down to 40% in August, down to the approximate level of Universal Credit.

The furlough scheme is not Rishi being generous. It's the Govt borrowing money from the money markets and the Ordinary Joes will be paying it back for a generation either through increased taxes and/ or the continuation of austerity in the Public Sector. Pay rises for the NHS ? Don't think so.

You not think also there's a bit of a class issue going on here too ESR .

Inadvertently I might add but in the way it's looked upon .

Managers , accountants , procurement and sales staff normally sat behind desks can work from home .

The blue collar guys can't without taking a risk .

About 200 construction workers are among the victims of this pandemic in this country .

No sorry back to it and good luck out there just won't do , I've a quite a bit of living to do myself yet and I intend to do it .

C'mon boys when the whistle blows over the top you go , see you in Berlin .

Moving slightly off topic SB I don't know whether you caught this yesterday in the media .

Starmer not putting himself and the party anywhere near a brexit extension .

" no the government said they would have it completed by the end of the year so let's see how they proceed "

Very clever and astute man is SKS , I don't know if you've noticed his style in the exchanges with the government but his tactic is to basically strangle the feck out of em using their own words which basically cuts through the spin , lies and bullshyte .

I'll swap with you Animal. If you want you can man a reception desk after using public transport and I'll go on furlough.

I like worrav seen so far watching Starmer.

The Telegraph/ Mail/ Express/ Sun etc have clearly failed to find any skeletons in his cupboard after what will have been a long and desperate search.

Furlough extended to October thank God. I feel a bit safer now than I did on Sunday night.
