And who’s place would he take? Certainly not Ladapo’s.

I would view it more as supplementing the squad. We definitely need an extra forward. Smith, Ladapo and vassell without additions wont, in my opinion, have the quality to keep us in the championship.

Tbh I can’t see Ladapo starting all games even though he’s top scorer
He needs the ball at his feet and needs to be in the box like a poacher, depending on formation can he do that in championship? Warney might revert back to one up front

Will have to see what happens but there’s no certainly about it.
seems we already have a player that’s maybe ready to join us, who that is I don’t know (Advertiser)

I think he's still on loan at Hull isn't he? They signed him on loan with a view to making it permanent in the summer, if they still want him then we'd have no chance. Good player though.

    Yes Millertop

Our issue with adventurous wingers is that the midfielder covering behind him has to be tactically aware and be prepared to cover if the ball is lost. That cover hasn't generally been there.

The supposedly better teams in the Championship will exploit it more than those we had in league 1

You maybe right with him being on loan to hull but if Peterborough has released him he’s technically without a club until he signs for someone else be it hull or Rotherham so I’m not sure if the loan deal is still active since he’s a free agent

    Confusing

According to this report he’s a free agent at the moment as he hasn’t signed a short term contract YET but probably will

My neighbour who works for the Hull Daily Mail says that Maddison has signed a short term contract for Hull City. Beyond that there are no plans as his agents demands are more than the Hull City owners the Allams are willing to stretch to. TBH cant see him being a PW type player. He would dance circles round PW.

Maddison has signed a short term contract with Hull so he can be available for the remainder of the Championship games. After that he’s a free agent.
By all accounts he’s a mardy @rse and disruptive in the dressing room.
He wouldn’t last a month with us.
Decent player when he sets his mind to it, good left foot and good at deadball free kicks.
Forget him, as a free agent he will go to the highest offer on wages.

    Besides that I don’t like his tattoos..😆😂

    Frank .

Maddison has been around for a while with speculation following him .

Peterborough are a massive selling club but nobody took Maddison until he was coming to the end of his contract at Posh .

If this lad could cut the mustard in the Championship someone would have taken him two years ago .
