And do footballers really want to dismantle capitalism, defund the police and destroy the "Western" nuclear family?
Do you seriously believe that they’d be fired and forced into hiding?

There might be Some sheep or feel a bit under pressure but come on GF seriously

In the current climate they would be.

If you don't kneel then that means you don't think black lives matter and you're a racist.

    Saul Alinsky wrote the rules.

Or the alternative view could be that as the world has been crying out for peaceful support of BLM rather than what has been witnessed in many places this past couple of weeks, everyone was actually in support of the actions of wearing the shirt and taking the knee to support those they play alongside.

Im still not sure. If kneeling is being apologetic for history. Then no .
If for current times . Yes.

It's just another thing we've imported from the USA without really understanding it.

    Cultural cringe.

Ironically, British left-wingers, despite hating the USA, seem to import all their ideas from there.

Bottom dollar (pun intended) is that it’s just a monkey see monkey do process with the added fear of being ostracised for not joining in.

.................sick of seeing it now, move on. The BBC are shoving it in the news like you've never known.

The American police have been like it for years, black or white. It's that what has to stop....

British black nurse stopped and refused to get out of the car, saying she was frightened, ended up getting arrested and now sueing to police.

Cue loads of claims going in..............just refuse to do what police ask.

    ................ALL LIVES MATTER............
