On your definition we've had a lot of tools managing Notts over the years. Keith Curle and Ricardo Moniz spring instantly to mind as managers who kept on messing up respectively. One messed up at home , the other messed up away just kept repeating the same mistakes.

You definitely place people in two camps, Pro Ardley or Anti Ardley. Nothing wrong with that I guess, keeps things nice and simple
What you on about Keith Curle messing up?? Curle is one of our best managers in recent times , judged on their points per a game over the total number of games they managed- relative to the league they operated in, and whether they relegated or promoted us

Keith Curle , and Kevin Nolan score high on a points per a game total, relative to the games they managed. And both were far more worthy to have been given more time than Ardley , yet strangeley enough supporters both wanted them out, but want to stick with Ardley, Im at a loss to the thought process of some supporters

... Ricardo Moniz was not enabled to manage in his own way, ie., with an assistant of his choice. Also the infamous recruitment manager whose name is not worthy of mention ...

Ricardo Moniz made mistake time and time again away from Meadow Lane. Repeatedly played far too open, as if we were at home (where we were thoroughly entertained).

He didn't change that approach or was unable to. Lovely guy though.

As for Keith Curle, as we all know he was the compete opposite great away from home playing with a solid defensive setup and great on the counter. At Meadow Lane we played the same way and it didn't work and we were poor and not entertained as fans. That was the big complaint back then and the attendances showed it. As Davy says kept making the same mistake.

We'd have run away with the titles if we'd stuck with Ricardo Curle or Keith Moniz.

Maybe, but it does,nt change the fact we were high in League 1 with Curle, and he had a good points per a game ratio , so maybe supporters should have been happy with that, instead of wanting him out

I believe we have never occupied a position as high in the pyramid since then

Monitz still better than Ardley, who is also a lovely guy. As for Curle he knocks spots of Ardley
