In our European campaigns we had players like John Holt and Davie Bowman who could put themselves about but I don't remember any game where we needed to rely on dirty play or tactics to beat a team.

Alex Rae John Brown etc were just not good enough players to be at that level.

    100% FACT mate.

After watching the humiliation of the once renowned but now the feart and tactical dinosaur Jose Mourinho put in yet another hopeless performance when it mattered I then watched The Rangers for all of 50 seconds.

The Northern Irish accent(sorry but I just don't like it)of Stephen Craigan accompanied by the absolute Hun loving 5hite that Rae spouts made me turn it aff pronto.

Tbh SP weren't that great. A better side would have scored 2 or 3 more in that second half. Craigan and Rae were making out no one will want to draw them in the next round but the truth is they all will.

The lesson for clubs like us is if you have players that can keep the ball away from them and turn over quickly they can be beaten.

Biggest joke of the night at the final whistle when the commentators are telling us they think whatever has been said has no place in football...while the tannoy is playing FTP and the Vatican🙈🙈🙈

That Northern Irish accent from Craigan also said that The Rangers player never did enough to concede the penalty just on halftime but the footage showed him almost pulling the shirt of the SP player.
If you want paid as a pundit at least try and be neutral.

The first time i ever witnessed bananas being thrown on the field of play was at Ibrox when they were playing in europe against a team who had black players in their side.
A few years later they signed Mark Walters and went FN mental if he was subjected to any racial abuse.

Very lucky to get away without conceding a pen there.
Also in the post match analysis the very annoying Alan Hutton was about to criticise a Hun player but stopped himself with the revealing comment "I've got to be careful what I say here"

Both sides of the old firm do the same in Europe all the time. They win a game or two then suddenly they have plotted their way to how they will win the tournament. I think they expect European teams to be scared of them like most domestic teams are. Slavia were decent but there for the taking imo.

The BT sport coverage was poor before the game talking up Rangers and totally discarding Slavia of being able to compete with them at ibrox!? Slavia done what they needed to without even needing to play that well. You could tell it wasn't domestic officials by the amount Rae and Craigan were complaining about decisions. So biased that they don't not even try to hide it. The lack of research from "experts" as well is crazy.

Roofe almost killed the gk and they are talking as if he's unlucky?! why is he trying to get his leg up that high anyway? I thought it was very stupid from him. very dangerous and was only ever going to be one outcome.

On a side note, I hope the slavia player who has alleged Racial abused Kamara gets a big ban. no need and no place for that in football nowadays. Yeah Rangers have had their issues before with those sorts of things but i still dont want to see anything like that on a football pitch.
