Good performance and yet another crazy var decision along with a stupid decision by the ref leading to their first goal.

Robbed ist liverpool goal, what was the freekick given for should have been a bounce up , var blocking the goalie's view my ar~e .
Why don't teams leave a forward up on the halfway line for corner kicks.

I really cannot understand why what should have been our second goal was disallowed, the only reason that I can think of is that it would have upset Klopp & Co. Conceding a winner to their ******* goalkeeper FFS; just about sums up our season.

Thought Livermore slowed things down when he came on. also Grant offered absolutely nothing. OK these guys have not played for a while but would have expected them to bust a gut. Credit to BS .... he has got us organised and difficult to beat. Just hope he stays on ....

And the love in for the so called big clubs is just sickening. Over here in the studio they did not even show or comment on our disallowed goal, just praise for Liverpool and Allison. There is a reason why I’ve stopped watching the Champions League... 😡

Totally agree! I would have thought Livermore and Grant would have bust a gut! Not the answer in my book but some credit for Kanu today!

Today shows we need to keep Big Sam if we want a swift return

For a referee to not know that his interference with play then means a drop ball is beyond compression, it’s like a parking warden replacing a parking ticket with a fixed point penalty notice!

It’s one of the easiest and most basic laws in football FFS!!

This is where the impotency of the fourth official and VAR are most noticeable in my opinion.

If there is ANY infringement in play during the 10-15 seconds before a goal VAR is supposed to spot these and put things right, a refereeing blunder is a direct infringement of the laws of the game and surely has to be called out.

As things stand they’re basically saying that it’s okay for the ref to make as many blunders as he wants but that players get pulled up for having their ponytail out of alignment 😤

The refs are far too protected by the game, people like Dean need weeding out and sacking.

I think there’s an argument now for the match assessor to have the ability to pull a ref during a game and replace him if he’s having a complete “mare”.

Refs should also be made to sit an exam every summer to retest their knowledge of the laws.

Dean referees in the style of a man suffering from total arrogance and self importance who has early onset dementia.

He needs to go this summer and not to a lower league either, why should Stourbridge FC suffer!
