I think we have spine of good team in siegrist, Edwards, Fuchs, shankland. If some youngsters step up to mark, and we get 2/3 first team players we might do ok. But we’ve been needing players for a year so not holding out hope, so far we’ve just been linked or interested in the same players everyone else around us has.

Guess I’d rather play youngsters than some garbage last minute signing. We should have fairly settled side at least, outside of top 3 everyone seems about the same standard, but Who can we finish above? Maybe Motherwell, county, livingston just now.

If we don’t get any significant signings, and have a poor start, we’d probably be better off without fans, as they will turn pretty quick on team I suspect.

I think allowing Tony to gamble with our club fills me with woe.

If the gamble comes off with the same old same old squad - we will progress possible to 6th (with a little luck thrown in). If the gamble fails we will sink in the opposite direction more than a couple of places. If the gamble fails we will get relegated. By the time we play Dundee we will have amassed zero points.

St Mirren won't be anywhere near bottom. At this point in time their squad is much better than ours.

As for TheArabs prediction of Aberdeen finishing bottom 6...
