Thanks for your reply ClaypottsDee. Hope that you both get better soon and have no after effects.
Aye it does.
I'd say you were above ave risk.....hope that dosent offend.....I'd say I'm slightly higher risk.
Good that you think similar to a severe bout of flu.......you seem to be on the mend a bit quicker though.
Regular exercise and controlled BP prob helped a lot.
As a left footer myself......Two decent left feet worth half a dozen right.😁
Can't say you play golf without stating hcap....against the rules.🙂
And one wee question.....being slightly hyprocondriac myself and heard similar from others.
I wonder if you wuda felt as bad if you didn't know it was covid.
I'd assume when someone tells you you have it you start feeling like death but if you had tested negative with same symptoms.......
Anyway cheers for answer
P.s if handicap less than 6.9 keep it to yourself.😄
The Track and Trace app didn't tell me I had Covid - it told me that I had been in close contact with someone who had given a positive test result. If you are hinting at some form of psychosomatic link that's not the case.
I started this season at 13.8, am currently 16.5 mainly due to the yips. If I cured that I could save at least 6 shots per round as my long putting is good. I might have been able to give you a reasonable game in 1973 when my lowest handicap was 5. I daresay with the appropriate shots and a few gimmes, I might give you a reasonable game but what golfer in his right mind is going to concede gimmes to someone with the yips?
No so good......putting a strength of mine. . averaging 30.3 putts per round.
I hope I'm still playing at the age of 69, hope I'm still alive.
I like the new system though, can go up and down fairly quickly.
In 6th round of daily mail foursomes, away tie at Edzell on Thursday, against a plus 3 and 9....so may get oor arses handed to us.
Had 5 home ties on the spin.....luck ran out.
Where do you play?
I'm guessing monifieth.
I thought that a golf handicap of 5.1 came into operation in 1983 when the new golf handicap system was introduced.
Back in 1973 your golf handicap would have been 5.
I am sorry to hear that you have developed the yips when putting. It must be soul destroying especially on short putts.
