Italy were totally outplayed by Spain in the semi final so I'm pleased we're not playing them in the final.

Yep, and they weren't impressive and were rather lucky against Austria as well, so like I say they can be got at!. Heck, even Wales almost scored against them.

I was lucky to get a ticket for the Spain Italy semi, was sat quite high up so had a great view of the shape, unbelievable how well drilled Italy are defensively, no gaps at all and how quick they are on the counter, I do think they started to tire later in the game tho and this could help us, I think it will be tight but hopefully the flair we have on the bench against tired legs will ensure we can win without going to penalties 🤞

Also on the train conversation was my first rail trip in 18 months, complete nightmare overhead lines down meant I wasn’t home till 2 am and ended up talking to of all people Jonathan Woodgate in a kebab shop queue outside Kings Cross, I kid you not!

Move back to the Midlands then Dave, or even better up here to Yorkshire, and leave jolly old Brighton behind lol. You might get a better train journey home then.

Jonny Woodgate was mentioned as our possible new coach recently for about 5 minutes, when a certain unknown chancer called Valerian Ismael joined another club lol.

But anyway that is irrelevant Dave lol. I agree with you about how well drilled Italy are and we should of course fear them for what they are good at. BUT, they are not unbeatable of course and we've got some things to work on and look forward to seeing as well, hopefully.
