Very promising start but we need a central defender with either searing recovery pace or who reads the game like John Wile or Paul McGraph..........we are going to get hit with the sucker punch ball over the top with us pressing so high.

Precisely mickd buddy. Not sure of Clark’s pedigree in this role ?

Enjoyed the performance, but didn't like the shirts, couldn't make out the names on the back

We need a ruthless striker and needed one since Gayle left. With our exciting new formation he would score so many too!

Tend to agree with the point being made that we could be caught on the break with us playing such a high line. I feel that Ajeyi is the quickest of our central defenders so would probably play him. I realise that he does have a mistake in him but I think that his pace could be important.

My point is, why did we have to wear the change strip? Our club colours would not have clashed with Bournemouth's red and black. Can somebody tell the powers that be that our club colours are navy blue and white and wherever possible we want to see them play in those colours.

I didn’t see the game, but he deployed a sweeper keeper with us. Defensively we looked fragile but then after about a month we were rock solid. I’ve lost track on the transfer window and how it works but I think he will be dipping into the oakwell pot for Andersen, helik or both!

Apparently his halftime hairdryer is hotter than fergies. Looking From the outside in , that seems like a decent point as I’m sure both of you will be in the top 4 - I’ve said before elsewhere , you’ll win this division

Hopefully mowatt does well as he deserves his chance higherup the pyramid again

Decent game to watch I thought .

WBA are far from the finished article under Val going on last night's performance .

That high defensive line needs some work to get it up to anything like he enjoyed at Oakwell with all due respect .

More intensity needed in the press which I think will come with increased fitness levels .

With Val he will ensure the players work and work on the training ground until they get what he's trying to achieve .

It was probably no coincidence that Mowatt was the best Albion player on the field last night .

Those shirts were just about the worst that Albion have turned out in, ever, absolutely horrible!

Loved Mowatt and things will get better but a decent point. Love the style from Val and passion
