That is a major blow to United.

Sorry to hear this, superb keeper I was hoping rangers would move on him. Hope Utd find a suitable replacement

He may think he is still young for a keeper, we are looking after him and sign, then have another season with us on his return...

If Carson is anything like he was before his injuries then we have a good keeper but what do we have after Carson is the bigger concern as if gets injured then could hinder us bigtime

Is there now a general feeling that this tayside derby is a bigger game? Saints won the double whoch is a remarkable achievement. United and Saints both great clubs now, as an outsider it looks like a very tasty fixture, good luck to you tomorrow it will be tough but hope to see you lidl up three points!
Not a derby for us, there is more a rivalry with StJ and Dundee though

Our derby is Dundee and other main rival is Aberdeen (who don't care about Dundee)

I'd assume if he is out for the season then we would probably bring in a back up to Carson, even if its on loan.

Exactly. Don't give a f*ck about St. Johnstone. It isn't a rivalry in the slightest. They're a bunch of farmer c*nts who nobody cares about. It's sold out because they're half an hour up the road.

Big blow, gutted. This also means we will have to be able to rely on Newman as back up as to bring in a replacement will mean one less place on the wage bill for a new signing 😕

Butcher and Harkes not on bench so both must be carrying injuries

    Carson
    Smith Edwards Mulgrew Robson
    Fuchs Levitt
    Pawlett Clark Sporle
    McNulty

Maybe different shape but yea still can do with
getting the players mentioned back plus Appere as it's a very weak looking bench

St Johnstone will have by far a stronger bench to turn to during the game
