Well he can certainly bury the ball in the back of the net!

Correct he was young and naive but, are you all ready for a second home coming? He has improved since then but he would be a far better prospect than Ladapo as he seems far from interested of late. Smith may well move on and we may have to change our game plan to fit him in and is Warne capable of that? I don’t think so.

Today is the day! 15 hours to go.
Smith - Will he won't he?
Barlaser - Will he won't he?
    Incomings - Yes or No?
Get yourselves ready boys and girls

There'll be a stampede of movement in the last few hours. We need to be fully aware and get our targets in first.

We seriously need to re-new some of our contracts, ridiculous that some are still 2022, get them sorted before you regret it

Can't force them to renew or us if either side aren't inclined to do so.

Deadline day is like being with a fine lady most of the time. So much hype and build up, promises to be spectacular but ends in inevitable disappointment and a dribble rather than splurge, if you're lucky.

Look at the end of the day and they are trying to hype a transfer between Everton and Newcastle because all the exciting ones didn't happen. The good ol' Harry Redknapp hanging out his car door days are gone unfortunately.

Problem is, players with little interest in staying often don't play their best. Teams full of players on one year deals just don't seem to do well. We do need to get these things tied down much earlier than we do albeit that we've had the league yo yo to contend with in the last few years which will have made it a lot harder. Does seem to be an RUFC trait though.

Do you not think we’ve learned from this with recent transfers getting longer 3 year contract?

Hope Smudge stays but I would be pleased for him if he lands a big contract with a Championship club, it would be richly deserved
