If Niskanen is the real deal, that should be a decent 'front three'. Is McNulty good enough to lead the line on his own though? Always thought he looked better in a two tbh.

Looks like thats the way we are gonna play, and to be fair, i dont think we have seen enough yet to confirm either way.

Not seen the game so can't comment on the performance. It's not the worst result considering how they mauled us at home last season, shame we couldn't nick a goal though. Probably saving up all 6 for next weekend 😉

Glaring omission of goals last season and so far this season is a concern that has not been adequately addressed, but I am likely the way the team is shaping up under TC. I think players like smith butcher harkes pawlett appear to have improved and the new signings all look decent and have or will in my opinion improve the team. I think appere will bring something extra. We are fairly solid at the back and look dangerous going forward, but the link up play between the midfield and strikers still need work.

Decent, you will take a point on the road, its positive after Aberdeen away that we've taken 4 pts in the two away games since without conceding, we'd have all been happy with this after five games as the prediction thread shows

Let's hope taking off both Smith and Edwards were precautions as would be a blow to lose either for the derby

Sounds like Harkes did well today and filled in not bad at right back, how was Niskanen, sounds like he was involved anyway? Good to see Appere back involved, big bonus that is going forward

Didnt see what happened to Smith but Edwards went over his ankle, didnt look good and id be surprised if hes not struggling to make the derby

I've yet to be impressed by Freeman, maybe harsh but not sure where the love comes from, some think he is better than Liam Smith (lol) yet Harkes is a target for some fans, he is a far better player relative to his position than Freeman is in his

I'd agree but you can't blame folk for judging McNulty this early as he was by & large pish last season, albeit in a different position.

No love from me as I haven't seen him this season, but he's a natural attack minded right back & Harkes isn't. I'd have round pegs in round holes every day of the week.

Smith's was an impact challenge as he took a shot. Could quite easily be a ligament tweak the way it happened. We'll find out once the medical team have assessed him, or not so, if previous injuries are to go by. He'll just be out and we'll get told nothing then he'll return.
