What’s that old saying about doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results
I'm afraid we must accept that we are only an average Championship team and not promotion contenders as many people think. Every team is now exploiting our flat back three who are absolutely paceless and spend half the time on the field calling for taxis!
We've looked second best for most of the game in my opinion. We got off to a great start but that's about it. This high line just doesn't work as it's far too easy for sides to get in behind us. The bottom line is that we just haven't been good enough and I'm afraid this style of football is not endearing the team to the fans. I have to admit it doesn't look like Ismael has a Plan B. Swansea played us off the park in the second half. Also, we picked up four yellow cards tonight. Too many. Livermore out for Saturday. These 'strong arm' tactics just aren't West Brom. A very disappointing night, not just because we lost but the manner in which we lost.
So s hite players will start to play football? I admit this is the worst squad in living memory and that’s a fact. What deluded f uck whit would want to come to West Brom if Val goes?
Barry fry? Why would Simon Weaver come from Harrogate when the owners invest and love the club?
Get real!!! People ask for Snodgrass well FFS if he’s our saviour then we should all get help!
This is definitely not the worst Albion squad in living memory. Have you not forgotten the 90's and the team that took us down from the top tier in the 80's. However, I will admit that we are not playing well and haven't done so in more than 50% of our matches. I'm still not convinced that this is the right style for us as everything appears rushed and lacking in control. As I've already said, this high line is a worry and the high intensity, to my mind, is very demanding, both physically and mentally. We need to play in a more measured manner. Perhaps we ought to revert to a back four but somehow I don't see Ismael changing his approach.
