The Ukraine might have found that a foreign policy of neutrality under the influence of the Soviet Union, in the same way Finland do might have avoided all of this military shenanigans and unpleasantness.

I just hope Putin does not decide to invade a NATO member country such as Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania. Then things would get really nasty.

There were some of my Lefty chums on here a few years ago, predicting that the Donald being elected POTUS would lead to the commencement of WW3. As usual they were wrong, indeed I'd suggest that if the Donald was still POTUS, Mr Putin would not now be rolling his tanks into Ukraine. But with Sleepy Joe at the wheel, Vlad will do as he pleases, and we may well now be seeing the commencement of WW3, because he won't be backing down or off.

Trump has already intimated the US should copy the Putin trick and "liberate" a bit of Mexico and send in some "Peacekeeping Forces" to keep the locals in order.

I'm not sure who's dafter mon ami, you, Putin or Trump. He was right about NATO though, expensive and impotent.

Nevertheless BT, this is happening on Biden's watch, Putin would not risk it if it was the Donald he had to deal with. You cannot be so naive as to believe it no more than an unfortunate coincidence that, as soon as we have a senile, wet Lefty in charge of the USA, the Red Army rolls into Ukraine.

Or maybe you do ? I do sometimes wonder what you Lefties have between your ears besides straw, with all due respect of course.

I have never quite understood how you hard core right wing zealots always get back to blaming us "Lefties" for anything and everything that goes tits up sinkov.

You must know even the Orange Buffoon would not dare deploy US ground forces in Eastern Ukraine?

Of more concern to me is the lack of condemnation for the Putin engineered invasion from the EU and NATO alliance.

The "EU hawks" were discussing banning Russian banks from the global banking system SWIFT, then the retards realised a ban could make international trade more difficult and hurt their economies. No gas, oil or steel purchases, and consequently Europe could not pay Russia for ***** gas supplies and we all die of hypothermia.

I'm glad you at least had the good conscience to back Brexit and leave the EU to sort out their own defences against Putin's ambitions.

Oh! Hang on we are in bloody NATO so if Putin pushes harder we will have to man the barricades with the British military machine. Damn!

Starmer has threatened to remove the whip from 11 dissenting Labour MP's, the last man standing against using British lives to defend the Ukraine from Communist terror is - you guessed it...

    UK RAISES ALERT LEVEL
The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent Russian threats and have therefore raised their security level from “Miffed” to “Peeved.” Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to “Irritated” or even “A Bit Cross.” The English have not been “A Bit Cross” since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out. The Russians have been re-categorized from “Tiresome” to “A Bloody Nuisance.” The last time the British issued a “Bloody Nuisance” warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada.

The Scots have raised their threat level from “Pissed Off” to “Let’s Get the *******s.” They don’t have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from “Run” to “Hide.” The only two higher levels in France are “Collaborate” and “Surrender.” The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France’s white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country’s military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from “Shout Loudly and Excitedly” to “Elaborate Military Posturing.” Two more levels remain: “Ineffective Combat Operations” and “Change Sides.”

The Germans have increased their alert state from “Disdainful Arrogance” to “Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs.” They also have two higher levels: “Invade a Neighbour” and “Lose.”

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.
The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

Australia, meanwhile, has raised its security level from “No worries” to “She’ll be alright, Mate.” Two more escalation levels remain: “Crikey! I think we’ll need to cancel the barbie this weekend!” and “The barbie is cancelled.” So far, no situation has ever warranted use of the final escalation level.

So you really do think it just a co-incidence that Putin has waited until the Donald has been pensioned off to rev his tanks up. Can't say I'm too surprised to be honest, out in the real world, away from Putin's fantasy land, Lefties are getting revved up because,

"Rishi Sunak accused of breaking lockdown laws"
"Chancellor has been issued with a police questionnaire over his alleged attendance at Boris Johnson’s Downing Street birthday gathering"

Never mind Putin toppling the Ukraine government, we could bring our own government down here, all over a bottle of prosecco and some birthday cake, consumed or not consumed 18 months ago. Just another day in the lunatic asylum, no wonder Putin just smirks and carries on regardless.

We have enormous reserves of gas, coal and electricity, but the Lefty eco loons have ensured they remain untapped. I've been pointing out this eco-lunacy on here and other forums for years. Just another day in the asylum.
