We get a decent lump next season and a much diminished amount the season after and then we are totally screwed.

I can see Lai milking this until the end and then selling off a complete husk of a club in League one or Two in three years from now.

    What a complete C U N T of a man.

Makes Peace look like he was on a spending frenzy.
    Thanks.
I forgot we only got relegated last season.....feels longer...

Sayers got a lot of stick from a lot of Albion fans , but can anyone say he is not better than our current midfield which is the worse I have seen for decades

Parachute payments are made over 2 seasons if you only have one season in the prem before relegation so next year is the last for us.

I have to admit that this is as low as I've felt as an Albion fan for a long, long time. We have dropped from top of the table to eleventh in such a short space of time. It is my opinion that Ismael's tenure has damaged this club more than we probably realise. Yes, I know that Lai's lack of interest and investment has been a big factor but he doesn't decide how we play and select the players. I feel that the players' confidence under Ismael has been sucked out of them and Bruce is going to have a massive job to bring it back. Many of you won't agree but this is what I think.

We are an old, slow side, devoid of pace and skill and most importantly desire.

It makes me want to cry how bad we are.

Owned by a c??? Run by useless pri cks who bring in Carroll, who Bomber described as basically finished when he was talking post match after the Reading game (when he played for them).
If your referring to me I never said we should be higher than 4th, I think it was you who said that , something to do will money spent and position in the league I could be wrong but I think it was you

My gripe was the total sh1te we were watching and as of the moment the football on the pitch is a better watch (not a lot )but the results haven’t improved

What would you sooner watch us under Bruce or us under VI ?

Surely, Bruce has to play Gardner-Hickman in midfield against Middlesbrough.

    Moron I never said it.

I always said out Squad is s hit and over achieving and when you were slagging off the last manager instead of the owner I asked you which great talent was not being played by the him that would improve things and like usual you shut the Fuc k and hid until the next defeat when you would pipe up again.

Yeah, my cup runneth over since Bruce took over. I cannot stop smiling when I see the gutless useless s hit on the pitch.

My prediction from the start was we would fade in late January as the team is too old to play the Val way, in fact the rot set in much before.

Cr ap like livermore, Phillips and Bartley keep getting extensions because we haven't got the recruitment knowledge to replace them.

We WERE. But not now. Not because the players aren’t good enough but because the club is run like a neat little business with absolutely no passion or ambition. It’s over, this club never takes chances and never spends serious money on serious players. I could see this coming when Val had a mediocre spell and the club brought in Bruce.
