There was no seemed about it, he was slow. But he was woefully underrated on the skill front. He was amazing in some of those Anglo Italian cup games.

Definitely was underrated and it took Mick Walker to show us just how good he was. Had a terrific season alongside Gary Mac that year.

Can't be many post-Sirrel era players that gave 8 years service, Lund was bought by Barnwell and left under Kendall. We all remember the Man City goal but the most important was the equaliser against Bolton in the play off semi-final. Got 2 in the 4-1 demolition against Leicester as well. His last for Notts a winner at Roker Park. 80 goals for Notts in all.
