    ============================================

Is that a joke? todays developments show how wrong people like Luke Goddard and you were to come up with an initiative that would put the club out of business .....and all because of temporary issues. I said many times owners come and go and fans sometimes have to be strong and not fall to pieces in tough times & keep the club alive. Today shows that to be the case.

Your viewpoint was and i quote "if the club dies it dies" well sod that, what type of fans are you two & your gang to think you can just destroy a club with 135 years of history. I suppose you will coming back to Oakwell now there is still a club to support.
The fact of the matter is you would have continued to not stand up and be counted irrespective of the harm that Conway and co were doing to the health of the club .

You were willing to sit back , do nothing whilst the club headed towards oblivion had they remained here .

You hide behind your continuous support narrative but the reality is you sat on your backside and criticised others who wanted to make a stand against Conway and co .

Now you want to add your name to the new board make-up .

It's not happening with me fella .

You'd have happy clapped the club all the way down to the National League .

Your not a fan of this club in my opinion , you simply like a Saturday afternoon out at Oakwell .

Incredible how you now play the loyal fan when only a few weeks ago you said you couldn't care less if the club ceased to exist & went out of business.

A few harsh (but maybe true) suggestions there Animal, I bet Ponty will have summat to say about it no doubt lol.
Everybody get ready to duck, when he sees it and comes steaming in with his reply.
A few snowballs might end up getting chucked here. 😊

I couldn't care less if the club carried on run the way it was .

It ceased to be anything remotely like the club I've supported for 55 years so yes your right I couldn't have cared less anymore than someone does for an ex wife .

The fact of the matter is you defended Conway and co and you even threw racism in to the debate , you called out the stay aways , those not renewing ST's and any form of protest .

You did nothing and yet here you are adding your name to yesterday's events .

I think the Emperor is hiding behind new clothes Shadrack…….. He’s still there . Lurking. I think there’s some protection of investments happening…….. every investor/owner will want to try to protect their property’s value ……. Even the investors with “not the biggest % stake…..

If every fan was as weak as you & your mate Luke Goddard there wouldn't be any football clubs left in England, some throw the towel in when the difficult times arrive but thankfully most don't, it's your choice but don't come claiming its heroic.

I have called out the lies, abuse & racist comments aimed at Conway Lee & Khaled & will continue to do so, I have also often said Conway was unbelievably incompetent & it would be great if he left, i don't think thats defending him but you are an expert at twisting words.

Comical & bizarre you claim the 'private investors' around the world & board decisions had anything remotely to do with the embarrassing Conway campaigns, i know a lot of fans not renewing because of the lousy football who haven't even heard of Tykes TV or napm. thousands of fans are not in the social media bubble and as we saw inside oakwell it was predominantly young daft lads on ponty end throwing paper planes & beer over Beth. That didn't influence anyone.

recent board changes show I was correct to say owners come & go & us fans are custodians of the club to-pass it on to future generations, there was always a chance the Crynes could regain control if the support remained, running away & letting the club die because of short term difficulties was a luxury for some to act high & mighty, you may have taken that choice but the red army never would.

Its not the decision by fans to not renew STs or stop attending that is the problem, that is there free choice & always happens after relegation, its those actively campaigning to stop all fans attending that is so corrosive.

The Crynes retaking (part) control shows how misguided some fans were risking the clubs future, BFC has always come through tough times and we are doing this again, you don't achieve this by 'throwing the baby out with the bath water' you have to be smarter than that.

When fans return they will see that the club and ground remain & hasn't been replaced by tumbleweed or plans for a retail park, but we have discovered we can't trust all fans with our club, some were more than willing to see it go.

Yes - a few snowballs being thrown about - but let’s continue to play the ball NOT the player.
I for one welcome Pontys posts.
I don’t agree with them - but it’s giving an alternate view of fans that continued to attend during the Conway era.

And dosent that sound good …… ‘during the Conway era’.

Av read at least four different versions by different BBS experts on the present Board/ Ownership situation so clearly no one really knows but I am increasingly optimistic the Conway era is coming to an end.
I am drawn towards the explanation posted by Jay on BBS though that might be because it is easy to understand.

If anyone has the IT skills and time to post it on here it does make interesting reading. Thank you in advance. The thread is called "A synopsis in laymans terms" Post 1
