All an act just to keep with the trend and keep you and Swiss happy. Mind you, when he comes up here he is free from the constraints of being a Burnley fan and the doom and gloom that can pervade in the area.

Enjoy your moan and you can have one for me if you wish, I do try to help folk.
I've never quite understood the happy clappy, positive thinking mentality Sub, it must lead to so much disappointment and disillusion. I much prefer to anticipate and ponder the down side, which in our current predicament could be D1 and/or Admin. But suppose I'm wrong, and in a couple of years we are still a going concern and pushing for promotion from the Championship. Good stuff, I'm still a Burnley fan, so happy days. But if we are indeed in D1 or Admin, I can have the smug satisfaction of saying, 'told you so, I could see this coming'.

Win Win for the miserable old git in other words. 😀

Sinky ---positive attitude ---oh yes! Happy clappy ----no, just realism and a positive attitude. Disappointments ---never any ----my mum told me "Expect nothing and you will never be disappointed" People mistake this and say that means I must have no ambition ----I wouldn't swap my life for anything.
My mother's other advice --"Never worry about anything over which you have no influence" -----that's probably 95% or more of what happens in your life, therefore, worry free.
Never mind, I'm the lucky one ---you just keep moaning!

My post and observations weren't aimed at you Sub, I don't have you down as a happy clappy anyway. Wouldn't matter if you were though, each to their own. I think you may be conflating moaning with worrying, I might moan about the charlatons running the club, but I don't worry about them at all, I sleep very soundly of a nght. Like you say, I can do nothing about them so why worry,
