A war criminal dressed up like a ladies garter does not do it for me mon ami. On the other hand, I know the sheep $haggers deep in the Ribble Valley are a different breed.

I try to show you the farce for what it is, but you monarchists are happy to continue to doff your caps and wave your daft little flags.

I was watching the opening of Royal Ascot yesterday and four horse drawn carriages resplendent with footman and minor Royals on display in a pub in Manchester. Four boisterous Irish lads were taking the pi$$ so loudly a couple of tut tutting Royalists left their meals and drinks and walked out. Four pints of Guinness later me and the lads were best mates!

I watched it too BT, not the same without Brenda is it ? There's an idea for you mon ami, why don't you follow the Sport of Kings more closely, as I do, take your mind off this family, it really does take up far too much of your time, and it's not apparent you get much pleasure out of it.

On a serious note sinkov, the motley crew who were in attendance really don't cut it. How was that little snot in the front carriage?

The "Firm" are certainly going to have their work cut out to keep their entitlement when Brenda passes if yesterday was anything to go by mon ami.

I agree mon ami, Brenda had the good sense to keep her head down and her mouth shut on matters political. Her progeny seem to want to get involved, best of luck with that.

D Day for Brenda tomorrow, Gold Cup day at Royal Ascot. She would never willingly miss this day, and to make it even more significant, one of her horses, Reach For The Moon, is odds-on for the Hampton Court Stakes. If she doesn't trap tomorrow it's the end of an era, I doubt we'll see the old girl in public ever again.

Instead her photo opportunity crazy grandson takes his fashion horse for a visit to Grenfell. The comments from the families of the victims were shall we say, less than encouraging.

Nevertheless mon ami, what a day in prospect at Ascot if Brenda does show, three cheers ringing round the stands, toppers thrown in the air, and then if Reach For The Moon wins in the Royal colours, you'll hear the reception she gets even back in Labour Party HQ. I sincerely hope she's well enough, Royal Ascot is just not the same without her.

I think the Queen during her reign has shown respect for this country and she is highly respected by most people in this country.

The alternative of having President Boris as head of state is unthinkable.

Although I am not impressed by the thoughts of King Charles being head of state, based on his actions so far, especially regarding the Princess of Wales, which have shown him to be exceptionally lacking in loyalty to anyone other than his self.
