Rotherham town centre is too close to Meadowhall. Why get piss wet when it’s raining and cold when you can walk round in shirt sleeves in Meadowhall. Should have not been allowed to build it so close to the town centre.

This entire fiasco was caused by the council.
Sheffield Council.signed up to the option of allowing people to take their refund cheque to post offices or anywhere using payment. Rotherham Council in their wisdom decided this would cost them too much money due to having to upgrade their computer systems to accept the payments.
The people having to cash them in at pawn brokers etc were not even receiving the full rebate amount due to admin fees involved. The sensible thing would have just been to knock the 150 off everyone's bill(which is what will happen to those uncashed cheques)
