CAM, Derby we’re 2up but got reduced to 10 men around 50 odd minutes so had a long time to see the game out and yes hung on for a draw.

2nd round draw made and Alvechurch face another tough but winnable trip to league opposition as they go to Forest Green Rovers. Hope their fans like meatless burgers/pies.

Both Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday have winnable home ties against Crewe and Mansfield respectively in their quest for a plum tie at NYS in round 3. No disrespect to our SY friends but I think the only possible opponents that would guarantee us any TV action in round 3 are either Alvechurch or Wrexham who are obviously darlings of Sky and have a relatively easy home tie against Farnborough.

We could get Derby then Sky would be orgasmic

I did think of that but I'd bet if we did draw Derby it wouldn't get on live TV in the UK. Over here I think every 3rd Round FA Cup game is on ESPN+ so I'll get to see us whoever we play.

If it turns out to be Derby, Weds or Barnsley would you be happy with any one of these or, would you like say Spurs, Man Utd or Newcastle at home instead?

I would prefer a big team away, one that plays in a ground at a reasonable distance. Give it a good go, hope for a result but go down fighting if we have to.

Championship survival is our trophy this year

Don’t want lower league opponents like Wednesday or Barnsley

I would prefer us to draw minnows at home in both Rounds 3 and 4 so at least we'd have a chance (I know nothing is certain in this world) of making it to the 5th Round again before I shuffle off this earth. We beat Wolves and Villa on our way to getting there in 1968 but I don't think we have the players today to even challenge the 'stand ins' that the Premiership clubs would no doubt put out.

Two extra games gives more chances of “hammys”
