And therein lies the beauty of football, it is all about opinions. One supporter's "very good" is another supporter's "clumsy and one footed offering very little threat" and a marked up rating of 6.5 due to the wonder strike.
Taylor was pretty average against Maidenhead. He did a job on the wrong side without ever looking like a right wing back. As left wing back at the moment it's 50/50 between him and Chicksen, the weakness of one is the strength of the other. I would say that neither option suggest they are up to a place in a promotion winning team.

Well, perhaps one day you will break the habit of a lifetime and get to see these players yourself and give you own opinion, instead of cherry-picking others..

    I recognise that quote 😂

I guess we must all have players we just ‘don’t get’….Taylor is that player for me. We’ve got ‘Check back Chicksen’ and ‘Turn back Taylor’ as our wing backs, no wonder we’re not creating much. For the record I do like Chicksen, but a wing back he ain’t.

Cameron is the answer for LWB, I’m sure of it.

When Nemane became available for selection again, it was then a choice between Taylor or Chicksen for the LWB spot. LW happens to prefer Chicksen, I would prefer Taylor as he has more pace and crossing ability, while being tough in the tackle.

I must’ve missed those tough tackles and crossing ability. Chicksen is a far superior footballer than Taylor will ever be.

    Cameron LWB, Chicksen LCB.

Seeing as we appear determined to play the wing back system, it's a bit odd that it's an area our recruitment team seem to have neglected a bit. We have a few options, but basically they are defenders trying to perform the role, or wingers trying to perform the role. All are reasonably capable of doing a 6/10 job, but nobody who you would pick in a heartbeat. We must have a bit of financial leeway unless we are simply using the cash to cover costs, so let's hope the #radar hits the target sooner rather than later.

TSANHO, I am talking about the crossing ability I have witnessed in pre season games, which was very good to see. I would probably agree Chicksen is a superior alround footballer than Taylor, but purely in the wing back position I would have Taylor.

Let's add another laugh out loud inaccurate statement from durhampie to ever increasing long list

You just make things up, but I do believe that you are retired to go to all (or nearly all) Notts games. Well done you.

Oh you are mistaken it wasn't cherry picked at all, TSHANO was the only person on NCM who graded everyone from that game, the main response was that people generally agreed with his markings. Try again chap.
