I’m going to disagree with you BB, for sure celtic have better players but there’s no way we should be setting up at home where we have been scoring goals for fun to have 19% possession and have 2 shots in goal to their 33 - it’s not Real Madrid we were playing. I understand being cautious but giving them the freedom of the park until the edge of our own box for 90 minutes is madness and it’s because they missed so many chances and had so many poor shots from the edge of the box we didn’t get beat the 4 or 5 that we probably deserved

Goodwin plainly just told his players and us that they are not good enough to even compete hence they played for the best they could, a goalless draw. So we either need a whole new team or a new manager as today is not even in the ball park of being good enough.

We're currently third, best home record we've had for years both in points and goals scored because we've been going out and attacking the opposition. Celtic sadly are a better team than us but better teams can be beaten on any given day, you just have to set up correctly and play to your strengths whilst trying to nullify the opponents.

Goodwin completely changed how we've approached every home game this season and played into the myth that Celtic are A MILLION times better than us and at the same time took away any confidence our players may have had. There's giving respect and then there is just plain defeatism and Goodwin went for the latter and to hear his post-match.......... Delusional is all I can say

Duk and Miovski were being used more or less as target men hoping that the occasional lump out of our own box would stick to them. With hardly nae **** rushing to support them, it was pointless.

A dreadful tactic, Goodwin, and predictably we got what we deserved. Just ****ing stop it.

That really was quite dreadful. It was close to a draw some might argue but it was also close to a 0-5 drubbing. The players were clearly told to sit back behind the ball with the two strikers up front doing absolutely nothing when Celtic had the ball. If this was a counter-attacking set up I missed the counter-attacks. Only when Johnny Hayes came on did we offer anything at all going forward and by then it was simply too late. Miovski hardly touched the ball but him and Duk had no support. A happy medium must be found against Rangers.

Stage fright….it’s the way we look when we play Celtic. Embarrassing and disgusting.

The players really do look like they're beaten before a ball is kicked, an inferiority complex in any walk of life never mind professional sports is incredibly difficult to shake off. You have to face whatever it is head on and fight your fears but after that 90 minutes then the players will be in a worse state mentally than they ever were.

Cue the obligatory "we'll make it up to the fans" comments in the next day or two.

Just heard his interview and the ego is in check. Frustrated that he has got nothing from a game that he told his players they couldn't win. We have a history of having inbred supporting players and managers. The only difference now is they don't even bother trying to hide it. No wonder they love cash cow Aberdeen.

One of the worst 90 minutes I have ever endured in near 40 years of going.
I understand we can't go toe to toe against them for 90 minutes, but feck me that was dire. No intent to play football at all until they scored.

JG needs to wise the feck up quick if he thinks that today was acceptable and for the record I would have said the same even if we had sneaked a 0-0 or somehow sneacked the three point.

Loved Duk at the end for running over to the loon in the Merkland and giving him his shirt. I'll give him the MOTM for that alone.
