True Hopey - Radz probably had enough of PL in all honesty.

Premier League rules mean clubs can only accumulate losses of £105m over a three-year period.

Just reading Pep wants City's 115 PL charges to be dealt with as soon as possible, the charges relate back to 2009 to 2018.

They got a European ban for breach of FFP overturned in 2020 & a paltry fine of £8.67m for obstructing the investigation & are now objecting that KC Rossen (the chair of independent commission) is an Arsenal season ticket holder !

Basically they're accused of false accounting whilst picking up 7 PL titles.

Reading now that In their last financial results Wolves posted a £46.1m loss before adding 10 senior players this season plus two more on loan, suggesting further losses on their next accounts & FFP breaches.

Now Manager Lopetegui is stating that it would be "difficult to compete" in the PL without investment with the Spaniard adding he had only recently been made aware of the club's Financial Fair Play (FFP) "problems".

With the club now unable to get the signings or investment ''they promised him'' & instead having to sell to keep up with FFP, his future is in doubt even though he is under contract.

Hells bells, Everton as well now & ex-Palace Chairman (fly-boy Simon Jordan) stating that for PL rules to be changed you'll need all 20 PL clubs to vote on matter stating PL CE Richard Masters only exists as his job is to only fulfil the outcome "they want".

Yeah, did a fair job regarding Newcastle takeover I recall to.

    PL rules = Total Bollux!

Financial fair play is a little bit of a misnomer depending on your perspective. If you want a fair league then there would be a fairer distribution of revenues, assets (players) and a salary cap.

Always suspected FFP was as much about entrenching the position of the top 6 who had already spent money to get there and stop them from being challenged.

To be fair to City they have not borrowed any money to get there it is all income streams. I believe on of the issues is that the sponsors are alleged to be connected to the club but it isn’t money they are loaning or borrowing it is money that becomes the clubs without strings.

The whole regulation of football is less than perfect on so many levels.

If Messi goes to the Saudi league there are rumours his salary will be about 200m euros per year - that is insane

I would have loved all the corrupt cun-s joined that super league and we had a decent fan base league to enjoy once again.

Agreed, let them **** off and spend billions in their own closed shop league and we can have a fun league with good fans that isn't won based on how much money you can chuck at building a squad through dodgy sponsorship deals.

Wouldn't last (or have lasted). The same would develop once an "elite" of the same sort was established in the "new" league. Go back 40 years, and the "top six" equivalent existed and the same kind of deference was evident, just the TV money didn't f00k everything up. TV money isn't going away, so the same as we have now would develop. The same kind of root and branch changes needed at LUFC are required within football in general and the world over, but they won't happen (any more than they will happen at LUFC), because the money won't allow it.

The 49ers got what they wanted us to drop down so they can buy on the cheap. Not an innocent party to all this and God help us if they actually buy us.
I hope the prick Radz doesn't sell and they f off and hopefully something decent comes out of it.We need a shining new knight with billions to save us lol.

If we want to bounce back then only hope is the 49ers and I think they will be okay.

If not have to find both a willing buyer and get Radz and 49ers to agree to sell up and at an agreed price - that could take months and we could end up with god knows who.

Steven Gerrard’s odds are dropping by on him being the next manager.

Sorry Oz, your wrong on this one. The 49's may not be a panacea for us but they won't be a poor owner. It's a business decision for them just like the Glazers, Kronkes and the Fenway sports groups. I'd say Scum, Arsenal and Lpool don't exactly hurt for money to invest. of course those groups, just like the 49's don't really give a hoot about the club or team. It's a business for them and they've made a lot of money off them. However, a club dropping down to the championship is not a sound business move regardless of how much of a discount they get. I will gladly protest with a Norwich colored scarf and cussing out the damn yanks if we are playing European football and fighting for top spot in the prem.

You should be a lot more concerned about Radz holding on to us. He's distracted, burnt out and not very well funded by prem standards. It's a losing equation over time.
