The more credible journalists, local and national, who normally do a bit of checking before they run a storyline, seem to be adding strength to this rumour. We should know more in the next few days if there is owt in it.

Swansea comes within my "fits in with the family" criteria.

This one is worrying! If we lose him with so much of the window to run, I can see him trying to take Mads and Connell with him and possibly speaking to Bobby Thomas and Istead!
Not to mention Devaney and Patterson probably going with him!
We could end up with another complete overhaul.

    Nothing has been confirmed yet.

Why would a club which has just lost out in a Play Off campaign with a coach who is successful and to whom most fans laud and who have an emotional attachment towards suddenly lose that coach and possibly one or two of the better players and maybe some coaching staff going with him ? Unlikely to happen at Barnsley.

    Oh, wait a minute.

Way I see it is that we lose owt that's good. It's been proven time and time again. We ent got the ambition and drive to form a solid football club with any foundation. John Dennis had no dosh but at least we had integrity and ambition although we still had to sell but not on the scale that we do now. Back then under this regime, Redders, De Zeeuw, Watson and Wilson would've been gone by the start of 96/97.

The fans get fed the usual ballax- "They didn’t want to be here so it's best all round that they left" No Fekker wants to be here by the sounds of it. Every outgoing transfer in recent years is a case of "it was best they moved on"

Every summer and January supporting this club you're just sitting uncomfortably waiting for the inevitable speculating and speculating.

You say - ‘We ant got ambition’
Then in another thread you say you ‘ain’t bothered what attendance we get’.
Can you see the link ?
    One feeds the other.

And the thing about Barnsley no one knows the potential because we’ve never had a sustained period of success.
