Early in the season but just looking at the scores to see where I'm going wrong.

2-1 and 1-2 are looking like the way to go.

Out of the 48 selections Griff has made, 16 (one third) have finished 2-1 or 1-2.

9 have finished 2-1 (19%).

7 have finished 1-2 (15%).

Nearest rivals are 1-1 and 1-0 (each with 4).

Ah but, ah but, ah but……

To be technically correct, in the scores games 8/24 have been 2-1 or 1-2, so still a third, but 4/24 (16.67%) each.

3/24 were 1-0 so still a good punt at 12.5%.

In the results games the scores only inform the outcomes which are H, A or D. So far there have been 9 homes (37.5%), 7 aways (29.2%) and 8 draws (33.3%).

Some good scoring this week with Kel and Davee getting 9s, Howoldboy an 8 and CAB a 7. Great smoke and mirrors from Howoldboy too; most of his points came from a 0-1 and a 1-0. Anyway, well done to them. Meanwhile, Cayambe and I only got 2s.

Nobby failed to turn up and, as a result, has plummeted down the table from 2nd to 12th. Life can be tough at times. Going the other way are Davee, Alf and AussieBranch, each up four places.

A special mention to Davee who got the correct results of seven out of the eight fixtures correct. Some work that.
