It wasn’t an awful pass and Rawlinson should have been fully expecting it, absolutely worse case if he couldn’t get his feet right to control or clear it he should have been stabbing it out.
Brindley had a really good game but that is one of the bizarrest pieces of defending (well not defending) I have ever seen, he literally slows down and just lets him shoot.

If it was a pass intended for Stone, then AN needs to sack his caddy as it was way under clubbed

There is something classically NCM that the biggest talking point from yesterday is who was most to blame for their first goal in a game we deservedly won. I’m sat at halfway in the Pavis Stand and, to me, it felt like a poorly judged pass from Nemane to Rawlo.

Nemane made amends with his assist for the Bostock equaliser and gave their left wing back the runaround (until their player was humiliatingly subbed after 30-odd minutes). As long as we continue to score one more than the opposition, we may have to live with these mistakes.

Well, whatever else we have tried has obviously failed. So do you suggest we do nothing then ??
These basic errors have plagued us for the last couple of seasons..

And if we hadn't conceded then who knows we might not have won.
I don't know what all this bickering is about.
Yes they can all play better and they will all make mistakes.

Did Stone have a good game - Yes
Did Nemane have a good game - Yes very good
Did Brindley have a good game _ Yes very good.

We won didn't we? That's what matters. Leave it up to LW & RH & TW.

There is no bickering, I just dont get why some are looking for a scapegoat to take the blame for Nemanes poorly hit back pass. You only had to see the expression on his face to know that he had f****d up..

    This!

Overall, AN had a really exciting and effective game yesterday. Definitely one of the most dangerous players on the pitch. Yes, he made a mistake that resulted in us conceding a goal, but this is div 4, things (including dodgy defensive positioning) happen. I'd suggest a stay of execution and he be allowed to live.

More than happy to go with the considered opinion of those at the game. As for Nemane, I've always enjoyed his play (most of it anyway) and whether it was over hit or under hit he will get my support.

They hardly plagued us last season. It’s the way we play, he’s been given the ball in a tight area in the first place, that pass wasn’t atrocious, if Brindleys at RCB I don’t think that happens.
I have bigger issue with Brindley, in my eyes he should be busting a gut and trying to tackle him like his life depends on it, that’s a non negotiable for me. Someone summed it up perfectly for me on Twitter, “Brindley gave him the freedom of Nottingham for that goal.”

    Totally agree with this.

Regarding taking a player off for making a mistake, does that include when strikers make a mistake and don't score?

Let's get behind the players - we got a win, why can't we celebrate a win and talk about Bostock's great finish or Crowley's winning header?

If we want to discuss something, how about 'Was it an own goal, or JJ's?'
