LW has spoken in the past about how he goes about things to make the squad a tight knit unit, and has mentioned that some things are 'non-negotiable', I think that coming back for pre season training in bad shape, is maybe one of those things, and feels the need to call AB out in public, as the best way to get a response from him.

Without being dramatic, I feel behind closed doors LW may have told Baldwin he is nearing his last chance, regards to his character, because if he is allowed to get away with silly sendings off, (twice) now, and coming back for pre season out of shape, it will cause unrest with the rest of the squad, which LW will not put up with. LW certainly cares for his players, and wants them to be the best they can be, but he does not suffer fools gladly I think. It will be interesting to see which way Baldwin goes, hopefully to get even better as a player for us.

I think this sums it up perfectly. Its clear as it can be from LW's comments that he came back pre season in poor shape that LW feels that contributed to his injury as his body is not in the shape requirer to sustain the physicality of L2. That in turn leads to his poor decision making that's led to being sent off.
I'm sure LW's ship is a very tight one. He obviously likes Baldwin the player, but he will not continue to support any player who will not give to the group what is expected, and rightly so.
This is not about Baldwin, it would be the same for any player.
The only person making it about Baldwin is Baldwin.

Well it wasn’t a rumour it was inferred by LW in the pre first game training video.
I get what ACs saying, I certainly can forgive him and as I said he will be the one that loses out not Notts.

Not really if someone can just step in for him, though that is a bit of an “if” at the moment. I’m pretty confident though he will kick on, for me 90% of the time he is class, it’s the other 10% where he seems to lose focus that worries me, it’s not his football ability.
