I see Ofcom seem to be seem to be sniffing around GB News, as their figures start to out perform the other news/opinions' channels. BBC bums getting a bit squeaky maybe. Not that Ofcom and the BBC would be bed fellows or anything.

Is that because of comments made by Laurence Fox?

No mm, there are five other programmes on GB News being investigated since May. GB News themselves, suspended Lawrence Fox after comments he made. Seems they are ruffling a few feathers.

No, GB News failed to follow rules, having two Tory MPs interview a Tory Chancellor about a controversial decision with no input from people of different political persuasion.

The fact their were 45 complaints about impartiality seems unfathomable high for a channel that apparently is only watched and listened to by love an echo chamber.
It wasn't the political persuasion of the people involved, just the lack of diversity in the questioning.
How many other programmes on other channels has this been the case, that have gone unchallenged.

Google Dan Wootton and the Byline Times Elite, you’ll find that incident is the least of his crimes. GBeebies have kept him on air because apparently it’s nothing to do with them. Even the Daily Mail has sent him off for a long lunch break.

Think if he’d worked for the BBC and imagine what some of the right wing lads on here would have had to say about it.

The notion of refusing to believe any wrongdoing until it’s proved in court is an interesting one considering the cases of Jimmy Savile, Prince Andrew and Mason Greenwood to name but 3. No wonder women are reluctant to come forward to report allegations when you see some of the grim contributions on here and elsewhere.

I seem to be in a bit of a minority in that I quite liked Russell Brand in his heyday. The longstanding rumours about him obviously mean he doesn’t appear on regulated media anymore, but luckily for him there’s now alternatives where surprise, surprise he’s now asking his followers for money. These faux anti establishment types never change.

Saville died before he could get what he deserved, Andrew was protected by the establishment, prosecution withdrew charges in the Mason Greenwood case so not comparing apples with that bunch.
