Good team performance all round (Jones was untouchable in the first half and SS had his best kicking game this season).

Great win with a patched up team...some excellent performances not least from Jones and Macca... never really in doubt after the first went in... Newport were absolute pants at the back...delighted with the clean sheet as our GD was pretty poor for a team in second... Stockport march on at the top but we are right on their tails...now on to Hollywood..

Some really good performances tonight. Macca led the line well. JJ was unplayable. I thought Macari was very good at the back and Slocombe did well.
We will need to be better at the weekend, given the Wrexham late show yet again, I suspect their fans will be saying the same.

The 3-0 is a great result and no doubt LW will be pleased that we kept the clean sheet.
Pleased that Macca got a brace and his hatrick will no doubt come another day.

It was good to see the likes of Morais, Tipton, Randall, Macari and Cisse on the pitch. It’s times like today where those who have not had many minutes can be showing that they are able to come in and do a job. As the game entered the last stages it became more about controlling the game and being professional and those players did that.

It is a squad game and today showed this squad are capable of getting results at this level.

30 points, that's 18 more than we had at this stage when we were last playing at this level.

I thought Notts were a bit sloppy today, credit Newport's game plan to break up our play and obvs we were missing a few regulars especially Bostock in the middle.

Impressed with Macari. JJ is really too good for this level on his day. Morias had moments but looked rusty overall to me. Baldwin was brilliant in glimpses.

Very happy with the clean sheet. Saturday will be a whole different kettle of leeks

He had sloppy moments. A number of times he played poor passes out. If he can tighten that part of his game up.
