Eaves and Nombe up front for the next game I fancy

If his confidence is building then let's do it.

Hugill always plays better when he's a sub.

Yes. Been a big critic of Eaves but he has put more effort in than hugill has when he has come on. He deserves a start as hugill deserves a boot up the arse. What's more he stays on his feet more than hugill.

    Eaves

Has to be the worst striker in the championship.

    Missed 3 sitters.

    Nonsense

He is getting in scoring positions

Hugill would still be in the floor scratching his a rse when those crosses came over.

I bet his goal per game match minutes is higher than Hugill's this season

    Eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaves!

I think we all fail to appreciate the benefit of a run of games for any player. A few games ago Morrison was being pilloried for his performances. But after 3 full games he's now showing his worth and it's quite possible that Eaves would do the same given the chance.

Having said that, his miss from virtually on the line was worse than Steve Downes' effort against Leicester in the FA Cup in '68. For those too young to remember, we're the ones in red and white and it's around 16.32 minutes.

Eaves is getting in there to miss them and he scored, when was the last game Hugill got in the box to have three chances?
