The bench last night should have been even more of a joke with Watt & Cudjoe on it from the start. ☹️

Cudjoe looks like his mind is elsewhere imo. Very passive recently and so young as well.
As for Tony Watt our big marquee signing, YouTube sensation (pfft) on a fortune. 10 goals in 63 games now.. what a fraud.
Will be well rid of both, and others also.

We could really do with a Craig Conway type CCFFS until he came good - a guy who can pick the ball up and drive at defences, commit defenders, open up spaces and can put a good corner and cross in. Not asking for much here 😁

I agree. Why stop at Conway? I want a Paul Sturrock type. Scores for fun; can dribble past anyone, cross, pass and all with no-shinpads cos he is hard as nails.

In my humble opinion the type we need more than anything is a Charlie Millar, someone not scared to take the ball in a tight space and drive forward committing defenders to create space for others, we currently have nobody capable of that, that's why we end up with all the passing across the back 4 and then an aimless punt up the park.

This is kind of what i was hoping to see from Chris Mochrie. Not suggesting he is a Charlie Millar type player, but from the videos we have seen of his loan spells, he wins the ball deep in his own half and carries it forward quickly, before the opposition have had the chance to regroup and organise themselves. Mochrie can take the ball past an opponent, pulling other players out of position and making space for his team mates to make effective runs. He can then make a decent pass to pick them out.

Whether we are not playing him in that role, or he's just not up to it, I've no idea.

I'd take Murray if any truth in the rumour and a cm, is Fuchs still out the picture at Peterborough?

We need a boost, the team does too, and hopefully Doc is back for Partick

Don't want Fuchs back, another f*cking ego is not what we need right now.

Is our recruitment just about bringing back former players? Our manager is a one-trick pony much like Jackie McNamara, 4-2-3-1. Tommy McLean, Craig Levein and Peter Houston could change tactics during halves of games. Goodwin could be a cardboard cut-out for all we know because he just persists with his stubborn 4231 which teams are now nullifying and we are god-awful to watch.

It's not the club talking about bringing back former players though, it's just posters on message boards so it could hardly be referred to as our recruitment. Having said that, the clubs recent strategy has been to sit fiddling through January whilst our teams hopes go up in flames.
