I want us to look more solid than today especially on our right struggling to see how there till/if we bring Kioso back.

First game I've seen since the Norwich win and what a nice surprise (the win more so than the performance). Yep, got lucky but not in the slightest balances out the lack of luck and bad decisions against us, so we need maybe 9 or 10 more like this in a row before I can even look you in the eye again God.

Poor first 30 mins. Far too much respect given for a team of very good passes but are where they are as they don't java end product and that showed. We didn't need to be that withdrawn but at same time, the damage to the morale and confidence of the squad must be huge, so I can understand it. Fair play all concerned for switching it up and getting more in and at em. It did need a huge amount of luck but we deserved it much more in the 2nd half.

Great to be there in the family stand with my 11 year old daughter and 7 year old niece, who were both joyfully 'giving out large' to the Boro fans when the final whistle went!

    Some great summary on here.

Like it has been already said,
Plenty of bad decisions against us this season.

Watching it live, I thought it was a nailed-on pen - perhaps out of expectation that those decisions inevitably go against us. Having seen the highlights, I think the officials got it right. The Boro player was looking for it and went to ground too easily.

So Cohen, did you mean it?

“ I looked up and saw Jordan Hugill and Tom Eaves in the box and thought **** it, I’ll have a go myself.”

    Agreed.

I'm also amazed it wasn't given, given our luck with refs.

I didn't see the performance as I was working, but watched the full game back before commenting.

The organisation is clear to see and the back line had a much better understanding of exactly who was expected to do what. We didn't have players going for the same ball and communication was better.

LR appears to be getting more out of the team. That is very clear to see.

Revan was outstanding, his best game for us.

If we go down battling like that I'll be happy. The beauty of football is exactly what happened yesterday. Unpredictable and exciting.
Despite results, I don't think anyone can say the home games haven't been eventful. Boro can't complain, they had more than enough chances to win the game.
Not a clue whether it was a penalty. The ref allowed a lot of pulling and pushing all over the pitch. Why not in the penalty area?
On the subject of cheering ex-players, can you stop it with AJ at WBA? He's blanked you 3times now.

Regarding the empty seats it cant help the team, you couldnt blame TS for saying sod this if the people of Rotherham cannot be bothered to attend a game after they have bought a ticket why should I keep putting money in. Why would he invest in the squad either. It also indicates that we are likely to sell 2000 less season tickets next year. You have to feel for club here they cant do anything

Well I missed the game due to being hospitalised again and as Mrs Grist also has a season ticket that meant two empty seats

I’m sure there are another thousand real life reasons why folks didn’t turn up. Lack of entertainment being one of them I suppose
