Hopefully LR can take advantage of the market and players returning to claw back the 7 point deficit
He did have a lot of bad luck, you are correct. However LR hasn’t had a lot of good luck either having to only name 6 subs week in and week out. It is interesting how players seem to recover quicker now and generally seem keen to play, we are far better organised with and without the ball, our set pieces are better. MT wouldn’t play Eaves and sent the best employed right back out on loan and even when he was doing well on loan MT was very dismissive about him. From what I have seen LR seems to have a better approach and his man management appears to be a bit more switched on.

Probably have been 3/4-0 a few months ago. Such a shame a great containing job was ruined by yet another needless error. Viktor should have launched it at the strikers. We were winning most of the headers in both boxes.
I'm a little more confident of a better second half of the season.

I’d be a lot more confident if we didn’t insist on playing the ball out from the back
We’re not good enough to do it over a 100 minute period vs cship and prem quality players.
Scouts will be fully aware now that we’re vulnerable and it’s worth a least one goal

Even Girl Guides & Cubs know we are vulnerable at playing out from the back.

Your prob right though it goes to show that when you get a good CB in Morrison Upto speed we look a lot more settled. Same when woody played. An experience CB and the defence function better. Imo Humphrey looked a very good CB when playing alongside a woody/Morrison type defender. Him and Blackett are both good but need that experience to look better. LR has got that now.
On the subject of us playing out from the back. Tbh I prefer that to just lumping it though when we play eaves and hugill playing from the back is pointless because movement is not there game.

Some were moaning on FB/X that what's the point passing it within 30 yards of Fulham goal to then pass it all the way back to Viktor. It's prob because we don't have the midfield/strikers making those runs and unlocking the defence.
