Right. Here’s my t’penneth….. you can talk about any aspect you want about today, but the only thing to focus on, is scary,
    1. DOF is just window dressing.
    2. Does he really know how to assess players, or is it what he is told to find? Because we come up with the same type of player mixture.
    3. Money has been spent badly and in his own words TS gave him a free hand and was not overseen correctly.
Taylor should have gone before a day passed after wood’s last game.
4.warne tried to build and did build teams, but then even with his blessing players are sold for money early and no attempt to keep.
    5. Think where we were before taylor came in, the beginning of last season, even warne knew we had under recruited and were only two injuries away from disaster, why? Because money was not there to buy, players had not been sold and old experienced players had to be risked because they are cheaper, don’t believe the BS about raising wages.
    6. We had the best midfield in like forever almost, taylor then set about saying we didn’t need players.
    7. We spent a 1M on one player, who got and gets on the pitch now and again and isn’t used right.

You can be outclassed, but it doesn’t stop you trying. Watch the replay of the second goal. THREE players, of which anyone of them could have tracked the player who scored.

    8. If these players are not fully committed now to what LR wants, which seems likely, it’s another taylor scenario. If not applies then LR has seriously got the method wrong. Personally, LR is another one out of his depth at this level. No better than Taylor.

I've always said it's two up front at home. Don't give a damn it was Southampton today, we knew it was going to be a one sided game.

Give it a go for crying out loud. Play five at the back and all you do is just sit there inviting a multi million pound team to pummel you into submission. Give them something to think about by playing a 4-4-2 for a change. If we'd have lost 6-0 so what, it was expected.

Be brave, WE WERE AT HOME!

Our saving grace is most of this rubbish won't be here come next season. I simply can't wait to see them go forth and multiply.

Actually being at the game it was apparent that our players were chasing shadows, had no definable shape and one or two were effectively "hiding" by not making themselves available on the rare occasions we had the ball.
Southampton were miles better than us which is hardly surprising but too many of our players weren't up for the challenge in my opinion.
    “ hiding”

Yes exactly right, but it was more than one or two.

Unfortunately Brin - if we’d lost 6-0 there would have been a meltdown.

Yes that was schoolboy stuff. Even a junior level we would have got a rollicking for not busting a gut to get back and cover the gap. Morrison was the worst culprit and he of all our players should know better.

First goal could have been prevented too. Player unmarked in the pen area with time to make a cup of tea and pick his spot.
Four defenders ball watching. Far too easy

    Some decent points in that.
    Just a comment on LR.
    Redfern was clueless
    Stubbs was Clueless.
Warne was clueless according to a lot.
    Mt was clueless
    LR is clueless.
Got to be the manager's fault right?
Maybe just maybe it’s something else.

Our Chairman said in the front room interview that he wants to be entertained so I don’t think TS will put up with the current offering much longer.
It’s been consistently bad for a while now.
Maybe LR will get a free hit until May but with players coming back and perhaps vs lesser opposition than Leeds we need to start performing a lot better

Wow. A lot of dummies spat out today. For me, the best team we've played all season. I thought the lads kept trying the all match against a much superior side, playing well within their selves.
It's not defeats to Southampton that's done for us, it's failure to beat anyone in the bottom six.
