its difficult to put in new drainage when there is undersoil heating pipes there
In a nutshell. Irony off the scale. Same applies to their Palestinian flag waving cousins. Money for the pitch is going to have to be spent in the summer. Get the problem properly diagnosed and then pay for proper rectification. Should the problem partly lie outside of Dens Park, as some have suggested, go public on that.
Good suggestions. Think John Nelms would do himself a favour if he dealt with this problem in the way you have suggested. Plays well for Dens fans if he publicly explains what he's going to do and also gives him a positive way of keeping everyone on board if the ew stadium takes longer than he anticipates. Should be a fixable problem but there needs to be evidence that the work is going to take place in the form of contracts placed etc.
There is only one problem.
Nelms does not speak directly to the Dundee FC supporters keeping them informed what is happening.
There was no apology in the announcement on the Club website that Sunday’s game against Rangers had been cancelled. .
You would have thought that Nelmsy as Managing Director of Dundee Football Club would have apologised to the Rangers and Dundee supporters for the game being cancelled.
Instead there was nothing as Nelmsy retreated into his Gardyne bunker.
More rubbish from you. Nelms spoke to Sky Sports , the BBC various other media outlets straight after the decision to call the game off.
Hardly retreating into his Gardyne bunker as you claim. The comms from the club on Sunday were good and fans were kept informed throughout.
When other clubs have games postponed does their MD apologise to the fans? I would suggest not, it is usually done through a club announcement which Dundee FC did on various platforms.
