Wrong. No matter.what the tactics, genius or.otherwise, world class players (and. they ARE world class) don't suddenly get bad.

Application of skill will ALWAYS overcome..The players haven't employed.the skills they have, neither have they showed a miniscule amount of energy and passion the fans might expect. Southgate is ****, that doesn't mean the players emulate just the opposite.

That win yesterday (if we can call it that), was hard to watch, and I barely enjoyed any of it. 😟

CBA to argue the toss but on this occasion I think the Rev has it right 👍

With you 100% - as are most of the pundits.

Players are being asked to play in ways that are alien to them and the fact the patterns of play have been similar in all four games shows that it has to be the tactical instructions.

Not sure if anyone caught the Spain game - they played scintillating football at times and we have the players to do that too.

Even when Spain conceded to Georgia, I was thinking how many will they eventually score and win by. And it could have been 6 or 7 in the end.
Surely they will test this Germany team, and this really could be a good match.
And on paper, France against Portugal looks like a good one. But I think these teams are also so over rated, both relying heavily on Mbappe and Ronaldo.

    Exactly Acido -
Spain are fun to watch and keep at even when they score.

We have the players to play like that if only we had ……

Ronaldo has had it, just a big crybaby when he misses a penalty.

Still pretty impressive he is playing in an international tournament at 39

    (Points at Pepe).

Anyone else see Raphinha’s DFK for Brazil? I miss him!

Will look that up - Raph was probably my favourite player of the last 20 years
